Assistant General Manager - Monday - Friday

€41,500 per annum

We are currently recruiting for a Manager for Arthur Cox in Arthur Cox

 Location: Arthur Cox

Rate of pay: €41,500 per annum

Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Key responsibilities

  • Direct and maintain service standards across departments: Restaurant, Baristra Bar, Hospitality and Events, delegating tasks as necessary.
  • Oversee service team performance and lead service staff.
  • Conduct performance reviews, identifying areas of success and improvement.
  • Manage financial budgets and monitor costs.
  • Hire and train staff, including temporary and agency staff.
  • Schedule staff rosters.
  • Handle employee issues and conflicts.
  • Ensure customer service satisfaction and build customer confidence.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies.
  • Maintain environmental, food safety, health and safety, and sanitation practices.
  • Stay updated with current industry food and beverage trends.
  • Foster creativity in food and service ideas.
  • Coordinate for events, ensuring smooth execution and customer satisfaction.

Our requirements:

  • Ability to make prompt decisions
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proven experience in catering or hospitality management
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently
