Key responsibilities

• Oversee the service of all event and restaurant operations within the Royal Opera House (ROH).
• Lead, inspire and develop a team of over 60, with six direct report managers.
• Be present during core services ensuring that all customers receive the best possible service as well as providing an initial point of contact should there be any questions or concerns.
• Oversee the planning and organisation of bespoke events and functions with attention to detail. Ensure they are delivered to the required standards.
• Manage assigned events, take responsibility for any last-minute changes the organiser may make, and act upon them confidently.
• Build, maintain, and develop a strong and close professional relationship with the ROH Events Team and other ROH departments with their event and catering requirements.
• Manage and develop the relationship with any key accounts or patrons to ensure that business levels are maintained and increased year to year
