Location: Robert Bosch, Worcester
Rate of pay: £28,000 per annum
Working pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday (day shifts)
About The Role:
We are currently recruiting for a passionate, creative Sous Chef to be a huge part of an exciting new journey we are taking with our client Robert Bosch, Worcester.

Gather & Gather prides itself on working with the freshest ingredients to create concept or classic dishes hit with a street food twist. At Robert Bosch we showcase monthly hot counter “Pop Ups” including dishes from our Pizza station, along with fresh baked goods and daily office hospitality menus.
As our Sous Chef you will be hands on leading the heart of the kitchen. Using fresh ingredients to create daily Gather & Gather menus. Supporting the team with daily grab & go prep, sharing knowledge & best practices, building strong customer and client relationships. Supporting with the management of all kitchen financials and working closely with the Catering Manager to ensure all food costings & GP% targets are achieved.
Key responsibilities:
• Support with the planning of menus so that they are in line with client and customer expectations
• Supporting controls so budgetary targets are achieved on site by demonstrating a good understanding of GP, GP%, selling price, cost price, margin, mark up and calculation of menu costs through recipes- (Training provided as part of career development)
• Prepare and support team with daily preparation of food to the highest standard ensuring minimise wastage and that food is seasonal and where possible sourced locally
• Responsible for undertaking weekly and monthly stock takes and to coordinate stock ordering for the operation
• To understand and comply with Company and statutory health, hygiene and safety, quality standards including COSHH and HACCP
• To seek customer feedback during service and use the information to develop the food and food service offering in the relevant site
• Maintain a professional and friendly image with the client and customers
• Work effectively with all colleagues to ensure excellent customer service
