Front of House Assistant - Monday to Friday

We are recruiting for a Front of House Assistant to work at Shepherd & Wedderburn Haymarket. This will be for 16 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

To provide a friendly, warm and knowledgeable service to all customers. To work as directed to prepare food service areas and the venue in an attractive manner in line with the client requirements for the event.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

• Serve all food to the highest standard 
• Prepare and serve all beverages in a timely manner 
• Assist in the preparation of tables and to ensure all cutlery and glassware is polished
• To assist with any food preparation in kitchen to the CH&CO standard as required
• Keep the service areas clean, tidy and presentable in line with the standards
• Clean and wash up equipment, kitchen and service areas as necessary to comply with cleaning schedules

Customer Service

• To present and maintain a professional and friendly image with the client and
customers at the relevant event.
• Attend to customer needs in a polite and helpful manner.
• Provide information to customers about the food in a knowledgeable and
informed manner.
• Work with all colleagues in a polite and helpful way to ensure excellent customer
service
