Food Service Assistant

Location: Cleveland Clinic London (Victoria)

Rate of pay: £11.95 per hour

Working pattern: 6.30 am to 2.30pm or 1.30pm to 9.30 pm (37.5 hours per week) casual contract hours are also available 

Responsibilities:

• Attending patient rooms and taking orders for breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
• Ensure all allergen safety requirements are always adhered to.
• Preparing hot and cold drinks as requested minimum 7 times a day
• Monitor meal orders by ensuring timely delivery.
• Preparing trays to be delivered to the rooms.
• Checking and registering food temperature.
• Collecting trays after each service and washing small items in the pantry dishwasher and preparing the trolley to be taken to the main kitchen with the larger dishes.
• Cleaning duties including cleaning surfaces, appliances and mopping the floor, removing the Stock rotation, ensuring all out of date items are discarded and stock levels are always at required level and appropriately labelled.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in working in food service industry in a customer facing role
• Good communication skills
• Basic IT literacy, ability to use ordering system and tray monitor on iPad and computer
