Kitchen Assistant- Term time only

We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter at OBU - Headington Hospitality.

Location: Oxford Brookes University

Rate of pay: £11.44 per hour

Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday with some weekends (7:30-15:00) 

36 working weeks per year

Key responsibilities

• Help chop, peel, and get ingredients ready for cooking, following recipes and kitchen guidelines
• Keep workstations, utensils, and kitchen tools clean; store food properly and follow safety rules
• Support chefs with basic tasks like stirring, plating, and adding final touches to dishes
• Keep track of ingredients, help with deliveries, and make sure food is used before it expires
