The Langham, London is currently looking to recruit a Runner in our Palm Court lounge. The dazzling Palm Court is famed as the place where the tradition of afternoon tea was born over 150 years ago. In this role, we are looking for a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level.
As a Runner in Palm Court, your main role will be to:
- ensure the pantry and restaurant are set for service
- ensure that all cutlery, crockery and trays are spotless and clean before and during service
- prepare and locate all mise-en-place in strategic areas in the restaurant
- offer and deliver food & beverage to guests, with poise
- prepare and serve beverage as ordered
Do you have? -
- previous experience in a similar environment
- flair, passion and a conscientious attitude
- confidence, professionalism and engaging personality
- ability to think outside of the box to surprise and delight our guests
- excellent attention to detail
- interest in learning about food and beverage
- clear conversational English language, knowledge of foreign languages is beneficial
