The Opportunity

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Housekeeping Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that our guest rooms and public areas are always clean and tidy to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff, ensuring they are meeting our cleaning standards and service levels
  • Schedule and assign daily tasks to the housekeeping staff, ensuring that all areas of the hotel are cleaned in a timely and efficient manner
  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas regularly to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering more as needed
  • Liaise with other departments, such as front office and maintenance, to ensure guest needs are met
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate departments
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience as a housekeeping supervisor in a hotel environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and a high level of cleanliness
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and cleaning chemicals
