About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in getting the details right.

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel
  • A proactive and positive approach to problem solving
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with different teams
  • The ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • A high level of reliability, flexibility and punctuality
  • Experience within food manufacturing, quality control, warehouse operations or stock administration would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of food safety, quality systems, BRC standards or warehouse processes would be beneficial

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming deliveries, particularly fresh produce, ensuring quality and quantity match specifications and delivery documentation.
  • Check all inbound pallets and packaging for cleanliness, condition and compliance.
  • Receive stock within NAV and WMS systems, generate GRNs and ensure all goods are correctly labelled for full traceability.
  • Monitor product discrepancies, including labels, ingredients and critical stock items, escalating issues where required.
  • Conduct routine temperature monitoring across warehouse chillers, freezer areas and storage locations, maintaining accurate records.
  • Carry out warehouse quality and compliance inspections, including hygiene, equipment and environmental checks.
  • Complete scheduled pest control monitoring checks and report concerns immediately.
  • Conduct chemical, equipment and production start-up checks in line with food safety procedures.
