The Elvetham Hotel is an elegant country house hotel in Hampshire, rich in history and set in 35 acres of beautiful gardens. The hotel is one of the most historic sites in Hampshire entwined in the British Royal Family. The site can be traced back to as early as the 800's AD. Today the Estate consists of 91 bedrooms shared between the Main House and The Stables, as well as four unique and flexible function rooms.

We are currently recruiting for an engaging and driven Bartender to join our Truly Talented team.

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a true epicurean – someone who appreciates fine food and drink and stays up-to-date with the latest trends in the restaurant and bar scene. You will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing outstanding service, and contributing to an energetic and engaging atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of cocktails, wines, and specialty drinks with precision and creativity.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of our food and beverage menu to provide recommendations to guests.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, building rapport with regulars and ensuring a memorable experience for all guests.
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in accordance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Assist with stock management, ordering, and bar maintenance.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and uphold the venue’s standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• A true passion for the hospitality industry.
• Previous experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of wines, cocktails, and specialty drinks.
• Excellent personal presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• A proactive and enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach.
