The Elvetham Hotel is an elegant country house hotel in Hampshire, rich in history and set in 35 acres of beautiful gardens. The hotel is one of the most historic sites in Hampshire entwined in the British Royal Family. The site can be traced back to as early as the 800's AD. Today the Estate consists of 91 bedrooms shared between the Main House and The Stables, as well as four unique and flexible function rooms.
As we prepare for the launch of our brand-new spa, we’re thrilled to begin offering luxurious Spa Treatments right here at our beautiful hotel. To support this exciting development, we are looking for qualified Spa Therapists to join our team and help shape our growing spa experience.
The Spa Therapist will be an integral part of the hotel's wellness offering, delivering a world-class, personalised experience to guests through a range of treatments. This role requires a warm, professional, and service-oritented individual who is passionate about holistic wellness and luxury hospitality.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in high-end spas or luxury hotel environments, demonstrating technical skill, a deep understanding of wellness practices, and a genuine desire to care for each guest's well-being. They will work collaboratively with the wider spa and wellness team to ensure consistency, discretion, and the highest standard of service.

The role
The Spa Therapist will be an integral part of the hotel’s wellness offering, delivering a world-class, personalised experience to guests through a range of face and body treatments. This role requires a warm, professional, and service-oriented individual who is passionate about holistic wellness and luxury hospitality.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in high-end spas or luxury hotel environments, demonstrating technical skill, a deep understanding of wellness practices, and a genuine desire to care for each guest’s well-being. They will work collaboratively with the wider spa and wellness team to ensure consistency, discretion, and the highest standard of service.
Responsibilities of role will include but are not limited to:
• Delivering a wide variety of spa treatments (massage, facials, body scrubs, etc.) in line with brand protocols and individual guest needs;
• Offering professional wellness consultations and recommending tailored treatments or products;
• Maintaining immaculate cleanliness and hygiene standards across all treatment rooms and spa facilities;
• Supporting the day-to-day operations of the spa including setting up treatment rooms, preparing guest amenities, and restocking supplies;
• Building meaningful guest relationships to encourage repeat bookings and drive treatment and retail sales;
• Keeping detailed records of guest preferences, contraindications, and post-treatment advice;
• Monitoring use and inventory of spa products, reporting low stock to the Spa Manager;
• Ensuring all health & safety, licensing, and confidentiality protocols are followed at all times;
• Promoting wellness offerings across the hotel and participating in events or activations as required;
• Supporting other team members to maintain a calm, welcoming, and relaxing environment at all times.
The core skills and experience required to succeed
• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy or equivalent spa/holistic qualification;
• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a luxury spa, wellness retreat, or 4/5-star hotel environment;
• Skilled in delivering a range of treatments including massage, facials, and body rituals;
• Warm, professional, and guest-centric approach with a focus on creating memorable wellness experiences;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a discreet and calming presence;
• Impeccable personal presentation and hygiene;
• Understanding of retail products and ability to support sales targets where appropriate;
• Flexible to work weekdays, weekends, and evenings as required;
• Right to work in the UK.
