We are thrilled to have an opportunity available within EUROIMMUN Spain, a subsidiary of our parent company EUROIMMUN AG, a cornerstone in supplying cutting-edge immunodiagnostics products to the Spanish market since 2000. Based in Madrid, our team of over 30 dedicated colleagues ensures the seamless delivery of our products and services to laboratories across the nation.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic and dedicated service team. In this role, you will split your time between servicing and refurbishing products at our Madrid site (approximately 50%) and working collaboratively with the Field Service team to support customers across Spain as needed. You will play a key role in maintaining and managing a wide range of instruments and installations, including laboratory network solutions, ensuring exceptional service delivery.

On-site Equipment Care: Maintain, refurbish, and repair a diverse range of our cutting-edge equipment at our Madrid site.
Customer-Centric Support: Travel to customer sites across Spain to deliver outstanding instrument maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
Proactive Assistance: Provide telephone support to resolve instrument-related issues efficiently.
Installation Excellence: Ensure the installation and decommissioning of instruments is carried out with precision and professionalism.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and Logistics to ensure seamless operations.
Customer Care: Build strong, lasting relationships by consistently providing exceptional service and professionalism.
Inventory Mastery: Manage and maintain your spare parts inventory to ensure swift, uninterrupted service.
Application Expertise: Offer software and application support, ensuring customers maximize the potential of our solutions.
Organised Excellence: Complete administrative tasks promptly and accurately, adhering to company policies and quality standards.
Performance Driven: Align with company KPIs and policies to achieve and exceed expectations.

Qualifications
• An Electronic or Mechanical Engineering qualification (ideally degree level or achieved through work experience)


Experience
• At least two years’ experience working with instrumentation, ideally in a laboratory environment
• Experience with IT information systems, preferably in a hospital environment
• A keen interest in medical diagnostics and associated products, with a desire to develop a career in this field
