Are you an experienced HR professional with an international mindset, ready to make an impact in a dynamic, global company? EUROIMMUN Turkey is seeking a passionate Human Resources Specialist to join our team in Istanbul. In this role, you’ll lead key HR activities such as recruitment, employee engagement, workforce planning, development initiatives, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. Partner with leadership: Collaborate closely with the leadership team to drive employee engagement, support performance appraisals, and implement strategies to maximise team potential and individual contributions.

Coordinate personnel processes: Manage HR operations for our Head Office and Liaison Offices, ensuring employee records are maintained and HR processes are well-coordinated. 

Employee Lifecycle Management: Support employee transitions such as onboarding, maternity/paternity leave, sickness leave, performance management, and departure interviews.

Manage the recruitment process: Oversee job postings, interviews, reference checks, and new hire onboarding.

Monitor labor law updates: Stay informed about labor law developments, share relevant information with management, and recommend policy improvements as needed.

Ensure legal compliance: Track new legal regulations, propose necessary policy updates, and ensure their timely implementation.

Update HR procedures: Regularly update and monitor human resources procedures and processes.

Prepare HR documentation: Create and submit HR documents, including recruitment guides, orientation materials, job analysis reports, and job descriptions for management approval.

Facilitate performance management: Establish individual employee goals, monitor progress, and conduct evaluations at 3-month intervals.

Manage annual leave schedules: Plan, monitor, and finalise staff leave schedules, conducting regular reviews (including signing leave books and ensuring duty transfer forms are completed).

Track personnel expenses: Regularly track and report personnel expenses. Collaborate with department managers to identify annual training needs and present training plans to management.

Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations: Work with the authorized OHS Expert to ensure compliance, inform management of required adjustments, and report on necessary changes.

Support HR policy development: Participate in creating, updating, and implementing HR policies to enhance employee development, motivation, retention, and operational efficiency.

Communicate HR updates: Prepare and distribute company announcements, ensuring HR practices align with the company's policies and values.

Education

Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant HR or business-related subject.

Fluency in English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Self-Starter: Proven ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision.
Motivated and Driven: Strong personal motivation with a proactive approach to achieving goals and overcoming challenges.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks and documentation.
Time Management: Excellent time-keeping skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively, meet deadlines, and oversee project timelines.

Experience

Relevant HR Experience: A proven successful track record in HR, demonstrating your ability to handle diverse HR activities in an independent environment whilst driving impactful outcomes.

International Business Exposure: Previous experience in international business or exposure to different cultures is highly desirable.
