The Role

As Cluster Groups Team Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Revenue and Group Executives to ensure effective management of the group’s reservations process from initial enquiry to group arrival. This role will require first class customer service skills to ensure the team effectively liaise with clients to ensure all needs are anticipated and catered for before arrival at the hotel. You will ensure that the team are working to the defined company standard and that the output of the team is focused on improving KPI’s such as revenue performance, increased conversion levels and increased repeat business through driving a proactive sales culture.

  • Previous experience of managing a groups team in a fast-paced hotel environment.

  • Must have the ability to prioritise and delegate work whilst also providing training and support.
  • Be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of service.
  • Must be standards driven and detail orientated.
  • Be positive, enthusiastic, and professional, innovate.
  • Must be focussed on delivering targets and budgets.
  • Good knowledge of Excel, Opera PMS and Opera Sales & Catering.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge.
  • Strong coaching & communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and multi-task.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Attention to detail.
