The Role

As Revenue Support Manager you will support the Directors of Revenue and Cluster Revenue Managers with the day-to-day revenue management tasks and act as cover when anyone in the team is out of office. This role plays a key part in the overall revenue strategy of Clermont Hotel group and is a key support role to the revenue team.

 

Provide support to the Directors of Revenue and Cluster Revenue Managers with reporting and strategy related administration as directed by the Director of Revenue Performance.

  • Support and strengthen the relationship and process between the groups and meeting and events team and the Directors of Revenue and Cluster Revenue Managers to ensure the quoting process is quick and effective.
  • Provide holiday cover when required to ensure daily pick up, rates and key administrative tasks are completed.
  • Monitor Competitor activity in terms of pricing, product, and promotions.
  • Monitor key events within London and the surrounding area and review impact on performance.
  • Support with London Congress bookings from a revenue perspective.
  • Support optimisation of the strategy and room type availability to drive fill night efficiency.
  • Provide support to ensure all revenue is captured with a focus on cancellation and no-show revenue.
  • Support with large group allocations and series business.
  • Provide bespoke reporting and analysis as requested using the RMS to support.
  • Support where needed with forecasting and annual budgeting.
  • Responsible for the validity of data and system cleanliness across all channels and systems.
  • Support with any projects and system set up as required.
  • Monitor system overrides and produce weekly reporting for the wider revenue team to review and challenge.
  • Management of allocations and materialisation reporting for accounts to ensure we have the right partners at the right time.
  • Supporting the revenue optimisation of ancillary spend
  • Execute demand generation strategies as defined by the Director of Revenue Performance

What we look for

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a hotel revenue management role.
  • Strong commercial outlook
  • Analytical with an eye for data trends and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and multitask.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Understanding of internal and external customers needs
  • Must be standards driven and detail orientated.
  • Be positive, enthusiastic, and professional, innovate.
  • Must be focussed on delivering targets and budgets.
  • Thorough knowledge of Opera PMS, Opera Sales and Catering as well as a previous use of a Revenue Management System.
  • Experience using a channel management system and a good level of understanding of hotel distribution.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft office systems.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Highly numerate (Math’s grade C of higher at GCSE or equivalent)
